The building of a 65 MW coal-based power plant at the Dahej Complex as well as the expansion of the Caustic Soda Plant at the Dahej Complex from 785 TPD to 1310 TPD had already been approved by the company’s board of directors.
The expansion of the caustic soda plant at the Dahej Complex has been completed successfully by Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. Production of caustic soda from the newly constructed facility began on September 20, 2022.
