Tata Power installs 450 charging points on national highways to boost EV sector

Over 450 EV charging points across more than 350 national highways, including one on the longest highway (NH 44) and another on the busiest highway (NH 19), have been installed by Tata Power.

These EV charging points on the highways are installed at diverse locations like hotels, commercial complexes, and car dealerships, among others, across 25 states and five union territories, the company said in a statement. This initiative by Tata Power aligns with its plan to install more than 6,500 charging facilities across the country by the end of the fiscal year.
