Premier Explosives has received a Rs 3.45 crore order from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) for the production and supply of three sets of PSOM-XL Motors (HS, MS, and NS) for their PSLV launch vehicle. This is a repeat order to be carried out at the Katepally Solid Propellant Plant. Four PSOM-XL motors have already been built by the company. The order must be carried out within 8 months.
Premier Explosives is a major supplier of solid propellants for India’s prestigious missile programmes such as Akash, Astra, and LRSAM.
