Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) stated that it will purchase 19.8% of Nutritionalab Private Limited, an Indian private limited company, for Rs. 70 crore. Health and Wellbeing (Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements) is the industry to which the HUL being bought belongs, and the aims and impacts of the acquisition are based on a strategic investment to enter the Health & Wellbeing category.
Hindustan Unilever Limited (the “Company”) has signed definitive paperwork (the “Transaction Documents”) to acquire a 19.8% stake in Nutritionalab Private Limited, an Indian private limited company (the “Transaction”).
HUL said in a statement that the acquisition is expected to be completed on or before January 23, 2023, subject to any extensions granted under the terms of the agreement.
