For the installation and commissioning of rooftop solar projects at two thermal power plants in Uttar Pradesh with a combined capacity of 4 MW, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has issued two tenders. On November 1, 2022, bids for both tenders must be submitted. The day of the opening of bids will be used.
The first tender is for 1.5 MW of rooftop solar power projects at the Jawaharpur superpower thermal plant in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. Bidders will have to submit ₹ 1,50,373 as an earnest money deposit (EMD) and an amount equivalent to 5% of the total contract value as a security deposit. The project must be completed within seven months.
BHEL has floated another tender for installing and commissioning 2.5 MW of rooftop solar projects at the Obra thermal power plant in the Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. Bidders will have to submit ₹ 1,97,900 as EMD and an amount equivalent to 5% of the total contract value as a security deposit. The project must be completed within nine months.
