L&T’s hydrocarbon division, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon, has won two esteemed offshore orders.
British Gas Exploration and Production India Limited has awarded the nation’s first contract for the decommissioning of offshore installations (BGEPL, part of the Shell Plc Group of Companies). The engineering, preparation, removal, and transportation of five (5) offshore wellhead platforms and related infrastructure at the Tapti field, off the west coast of India, which is being operated by the joint venture of BGEPL, ONGC, and RIL, are included in the contract’s scope of work.
The Company has also obtained a contract from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Pipeline Replacement Project-VI Project’s remaining works (PRP-VI). The project’s scope includes laying about 42 km of undersea pipes and related subsea activities throughout ONGC’s offshore fields on India’s west coast.
These order awards confirm L&T’s leadership position as a one-stop solution supplier and serve as a testament to its execution prowess across the full hydrocarbon value chain.
