On Thursday, Tata Motors revealed that it had won an order from Haryana Roadways to supply 1,000 buses. The auto giant stated that as part of the contract, it will begin the phased supply of 52-seater fully built diesel buses that comply with BS6. The company added that the e-bidding process was conducted using the government’s tendering procedure.
In a press release distributed earlier on Thursday, the company expressed its “pleasure” at having received the largest and most prestigious order from Haryana Roadways. The business added that the new order would strengthen its relationship with the Haryana State Government and give residents of the state access to “modern public transportation.”
