In order to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity, Timken India plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat to produce spherical roller bearings (SRB), cylindrical roller bearings (CRB), and their component parts.
Commercial Production at the aforementioned manufacturing plant is anticipated to begin in January 2025 with an estimated investment of Rs 600 crore. The company already operates a manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat, where Tapered Roller Bearings (TRB) and their parts are principally produced.
The main business activity of Timken India is the production, marketing, and export of antifriction bearings, parts, and accessories. The business also represents The Timken Company’s products in sales and engages in import and acquisition for resale activities.
