The United States Food and Drug Administration has granted final approval to Zydus Lifesciences for Doxepin Hydrochloride Capsules USP, 150 mg (USRLD: Sinequan Capsules) (USFDA). Doxepin Hydrochloride capsule is used to treat mental/emotional issues like depression and anxiety. It improves moods and feelings of well-being, alleviates anxiety and tension, promotes better sleep, and boosts energy levels.
The drug will be manufactured in Moraiya, Ahmedabad, at the group’s formulation manufacturing facility (India). In the United States, Doxepin Hydrochloride Capsules USP, 150 mg had annual sales of USD 2.11 million (IQVIA MAT Jan. 2023).
