The Indian IT behemoth Infosys announced that it had partnered with Walmart Commerce Technologies to assist retailers in utilising technological solutions that streamline the experiences of customers and store employees. According to a statement from Infosys, the Bangalore-based IT giant will assist retailers in implementing and using Store Assist, which enables them to offer “seamless omnichannel experiences” like pickup, delivery, and ship from store for both employees and customers.
“To navigate an increasingly complex supply chain and serve the modern intelligent shopper the way they want, retailers are looking for innovative ways to deliver seamless omni-channel experiences with convenient fulfilment options,” said Karmesh Vaswani, EVP and Global Head – Consumer, Retail, and Logistics at Infosys.
Over the past three decades, Infosys has aided retailers, consumer technology, consumer packaged goods, and logistics companies in navigating their next through digital and emerging technologies, the company said. Infosys has platforms like Infosys Equinox, partner products, and leading digital capabilities. According to the company, by advancing their operating models, transforming their talent for the future, and enhancing their core digital capabilities, over 190 retailers around the world have become sentient enterprises.
