Thermax Limited has completed an order for mechanical balance of plant (MBoP) work for the captive power plant (CPP) at their new oil-to-chemical (O2C) facility in the western part of India worth Rs. 271.50 crore from India’s largest oil refinery in the private sector. In order to support the expansion of O2C and the construction of a mega factory, the proposed CPP is anticipated to meet the increased demand for power from on-going projects at the customer’s premises.
The customer has given Thermax, which has completed more than 150 EPC projects in the industry, the go-ahead to complete the MBoP work, which entails engineering, procurement/supply, construction, and civil works. The project is anticipated to be finished in 16 months.
