Shalby education arm signs MoU with Silver Oak University

Shalby announced that its healthcare education division, Shalby Academy, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Silver Oak University in Ahmedabad to develop various courses collaboratively. The company signed an agreement to collaborate on the development of various vocational undergraduate and postgraduate courses in allied health science, such as radio imaging, operation theatre, and medical laboratory technology.

Under the new education policy (NEEP) of the Government of India, Shalby Academy will run these programmes fulltime, with practical exposure at their hospitals and simulation lab. According to the company, Allied Health Science is in high demand because of the expansion occurring in the health sector following COVID-19.

The programmes will be available to students in Gujarat during the upcoming academic year.
