PTC Industries and Safran AE to sign an MoU for Defence and Civil Aerospace sectors

PTC Industries Limited and Safran Aircraft Engines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for strategic business cooperation. Safran Aircraft Engines is involved in, among other things, the design, development, manufacturing, and maintenance of civil and military aircraft engines as well as other aerospace and defense-related equipment.

In accordance with the MoU, the two organisations will

  • Examine the potential for PTC (through its wholly owned subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies) to manufacture and supply castings and components made of titanium and super alloy for the LEAP engines used in civil aircraft engines.
  • PTC (through its 100% owned subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies) may want to investigate producing and supplying castings and components made of titanium and super alloy for the M88 engines used in military aircraft engines.
  • Any additional business chances that might be agreed upon by both parties, perhaps in the field of military or commercial aircraft engines.
