Redignton has been named as Polycab India’s national distributor for passive networking solutions following the announcement of a strategic partnership between the two companies.
By leveraging Redington’s extensive distribution network and effective operational know-how, Polycab Telecom, the company’s telecom division, hopes to achieve its distribution objectives and strengthen the presence of its passive networking portfolio, which includes end-to-end copper and fibre systems, throughout India.
According to the company, Redington would make Polycab’s wide range of products, including copper systems and optical fibre cable, available to channel partners and make the company more accessible to value-added distributors (VADs), who would work with them through an integrated activation programme to effectively work with their ecosystem of system integrators and value partners.
Redington is a top provider of IT solutions for the information technology, mobile, telecom, cloud, lifestyle, and solar industries. With 60 subsidiary offices, it has a presence in 38 different markets.
Polycab India, the largest manufacturer of wires and cables in India, with rapid expansion in the Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) market. Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects are another area of business for the Group.
