Oberoi Realty Ltd announced that it had purchased an 8-acre plot of land in Thane, Maharashtra, for Rs 192 crore. In a regulatory filing, the company stated that it had successfully completed the transaction with Blue Star Ltd (BSL) for the acquisition of lands measuring approximately 32,204 square metres (approximately 8 acres) in Thane, Maharashtra.
“The company has paid BSL the entire consideration of Rs 192.31 crores,” Oberoi Realty stated.
On Thursday, the company took possession of the property and registered the conveyance for the land. The land purchased from BSL is adjacent to the company’s existing lands, which total approximately 60 acres. Oberoi Realty is one of the country’s leading real estate developers.
