NBCC (India) bags two orders worth Rs 146 crore

According to the exchange filing, the Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi) awarded the Rs 146-crore contract to the state-owned NBCC for construction, redevelopment, and facility management. In a recent statement to exchanges, the company stated that it had signed a deal with Scirocco Enterprises Ltd of Zambia to collaborate on the construction of 100,000 low and medium-cost houses in the African country to address a worsening housing crisis.

According to a post-market hours filing on Friday, NBCC’s subsidiary HSCC (India) has won a work order worth Rs 811.9 million from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the vertical expansion of a service block on its campus in New Delhi.

The NBCC, the implementing agency for the redevelopment of three GPRA colonies, also recently announced the successful completion of an e-auction of commercial built-up space at the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. Four buyers participated in the most recent auction and were successful in purchasing approximately 1.05 lakh square feet of built-up area for Rs 415.10 crore. With this latest sale, NBCC has sold 15.49 lakh square feet of built-up area for the redevelopment project, valued at Rs 6,251.90 crore. The redevelopment project aims to provide modern and sustainable housing for Delhi government employees.
