Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the top SUV producer in India, and Jio-bp, a fuels and mobility joint venture between bp and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), are enhancing their current collaboration by having Jio-bp build out a reliable charging infrastructure for Mahindra’s planned e-SUV launches. The businesses inked an MoU last year to explore the development of EV goods and services as well as the discovery of fuel synergies between low-carbon and conventional fuels. Jio-bp will deploy DC fast chargers at M&M dealership network and workshops nationwide, starting with 16 cities. All parties involved in the EV value chain will profit from the relationship since these chargers are accessible to the general public.
