L&T Construction, Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm, has received two orders from the Vedanta Group for its Minerals & Metals Business. The first order is for M/s. Hindustan Zinc to set up a 5 LTPA fertiliser plant (a Vedanta Group Subsidiary). This EPC order entails the construction of a 1.8 LTPA Phosphoric Acid Plant (PAP) and a 5.1 LTPA Di Ammonia Phosphate Plant (DAP) within the premises of the existing main plant in Chanderiya, Rajasthan.
The second order is for M/s. Bharat Aluminium Company to increase the capacity of the Aluminum Smelter Complex at BALCO Korba, Chhattisgarh, by 435 KTPA (a Vedanta Group Subsidiary). The primary scope of work entails critical pot shell fabrication, assembly, and installation, as well as civil, structural, and equipment installation.
