KEC International secures new orders of Rs. 1,560 cr from Power Grid Corporation

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major and RPG Group Company, has received new orders worth Rs. 1,560 crores from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects in India via the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route:
• Transmission line of 765 kV • AIS Substation of 765/400 kV • GIS Substations of 765 kV

“We are pleased with the prestigious orders from PGCIL,” said Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd. These orders, combined with those announced earlier this year, have significantly increased our order book in the domestic T&D market. With the government’s emphasis on green hydrogen and renewables such as solar, we are seeing an uptick in the domestic T&D market, which had been sluggish for several years. With the above orders, our YTD order intake has reached an all-time high of over Rs. 21,000 crores, representing a 30% increase over last year.”
