ABB India said on Tuesday that it has inaugurated a factory in Bengaluru for the mass production of measurement and analytical equipment.
According to a release, ABB Measurement & Analytics recently launched its first smart instrumentation factory in Bengaluru, India, to assist the city’s goal of becoming a major centre for global design and production.
The new facility will produce field devices for a number of markets, including power, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, water, and other sectors, including pressure and temperature transmitters, IP convertors, and electromagnetic flowmeters.
With our new factory, we are happy to help the regional economy in keeping with the “made in India” initiative, said Manish Dixit, regional sales & service manager for South Asia at ABB Measurement & Analytics.
