SWSM has awarded HFCL Ltd a contract worth Rs.1770 crores for providing EPC Services, including provision for the laying of optical fibre cables, for the execution of the Varanasi Revenue Division in the state of Uttar Pradesh (“Project”). This will significantly increase the Company’s revenue and profitability. The optical fibre cables that have been laid will also improve network operation and maintenance.
The contract value for materials and services is Rs.1414 crores, and the contract value for operation and maintenance services is Rs.356 crores. The aforementioned Project will be carried out by the Company in collaboration with JWIL Infra Limited as a consortium partner.
The Project must be completed within eighteen months of the Contract date. Following the completion of the Project, the Company must provide warranty support for one year and operation and maintenance services for ten years.
