G R Infra is the winning bidder for a Rs 1,248 crore project in Bihar

The civil construction firm announced that it was the lowest (L1) bidder in a tender conducted by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Bharatmala Pariyojana in Bihar on a hybrid annuity mode. The project scope includes the construction of a six-lane greenfield VaranasiRanchiKolkata Highway from Anarbansalea village to Sagrampur village under the Bihar Bharatmala Pariyojana.

The project bid cost Rs 1,248.37 crore. The construction is expected to be completed in 730 days from the appointed date, with a 15-year operational period beginning on the date of commercial operation.
G R Infraprojects is a road-focused integrated road engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm. The company has also recently expanded into railway-related projects. The consolidated net profit of the company increased to Rs 323.65 crore in the quarter ended December 2022, up from Rs 145.48 crore in the previous quarter ended December 2021. In Q3 FY23, sales increased 12.10% year on year to Rs 2,191.88 crore.
