Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar has acquired a 5.04% stake in Bajaj Power Ventures (BPVPL). Through its subsidiaries, BPVPL develops power projects. The company paid Rs 445.54 crore for 4,05,04,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each in BPVPL. Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar (BHSL) is India’s largest sugar and ethanol manufacturer. It is headquartered in Mumbai (Maharashtra), India, and is part of the Bajaj Group (Kushagra).
