Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) on Monday announced a scheme of arrangement that involves demerger of plastics component for battery business from Mangal Industries Ltd (MIL) and merge the division into ARBL. This is in keeping with the theme of consolidating and unlocking synergies as the company continues to pursue value accretive growth opportunities that will lead ARBL to the leadership position in the Energy and Mobility space. As stated in a statement, this action is in the best interests of our shareholders according to ARBL.
