Adani Transmission has acquired WRSR Power Transmission’s entire issued, paid-up, and subscribed equity share capital. The primary goal of the acquisition is to establish a transmission system for the ISTS Network Expansion Scheme in the Western and Southern Regions in order to export surplus power during high RE scenarios in the Southern Region. Previously, the company entered into a share purchase agreement with REC Power Development and Consultancy to acquire 100% of WRSR Power Transmission’s equity share capital.
