Thermax secures Rs 251.7 crore order

An Indian public sector power company has awarded Thermax a Rs. 251.7 crore contract for the renovation and modernization (R&M) of the Electrostatic Precipitator Package of its 3×210 MW Thermal Power Station in Bankura, West Bengal, India. The ESP systems will be renovated, retrofitted, and modernised to reduce particulate emissions and meet the power plants’ air quality standards. The scope of supply includes ESP system design, engineering, manufacturing, dismantling/relocation, civil work, construction, and commissioning. The project is expected to take 25 months to complete.
