JSW Steel reported on Monday that its total combined production of crude steel increased 17% to 6.24 million tonnes (MT) during October and December of 2022–23. 5.35 MT were produced collectively during the same period last year, according to a statement from JSW Steel.
“JSW Steel reported its group combined crude steel output at 6.24 million tonne for Q3 FY23 marking a gain of 17% y-o-y (year-on-year),” it added. Its standalone output increased by 20% to 6.06 MT in the third quarter from 5.05 MT in the same quarter last year.
The output of the jointly held companies Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd (BPSL) and JSW Ispat Special Products Ltd (JISPL), as well as the offshore firm JSW Steel USA, is included in the combined production, according to the company.
