Salasar Techno Engineering rose 8.55% to Rs 56.50 after the company announced that it had received two letters of intent (LoIs) from Pashchimanchal Vidvut Vitran Nigam worth Rs 748.46 crore (PVVNL).
The contract is for the development of distribution infrastructure for loss reduction in four districts of Uttar Pradesh state, namely Bulandshahar, Hapur, Baghpat, and Meerut, under the Revamped Reforms-based and Result-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) for electricity distribution, GPS survey, design, supply, installation, GIS asset mapping, testing, and commissioning of loss reduction works on a turnkey basis.
Salasar Techno Engineering (STEL) manufactures and sells galvanised steel structures used in telecom towers, transmission towers, utility poles, railway over bridges, railway overhead electrification structures, stadium lights, and other applications. It also provides EPC solutions by engineering, designing, fabricating, galvanising, and deploying towers, transmission lines, and railway electrification lines.
