In order to supply power transformers for their forthcoming 4.75 GW renewable energy park in Gujarat, which is a component of India’s largest solar park, NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has granted a contract to Hitachi Energy India. This solar park, which spans 72,600 hectares in Kutch, aids the nation’s efforts to achieve a carbon-neutral future by expanding its use of green energy.
Hitachi Energy will contribute ten (10) no. 315 MVA 400/33/33 kV transformers made at its Vadodara-based Transformers factory as part of this project. The transformer will have the highest rating ever employed by solar power evacuation.
